Harokopio University Central Amphitheater

Challenges and prospects in times of uncertainty

The conference is co-organized with the Department of Economics & Sustainable Development and the Career Office of Harokopio University.

The Conference

Uncertainty has been dominant news lately, as the geopolitical environment combined with the turmoil caused by the pandemic, is causing volatility in markets and supply chains. Traditionally, higher uncertainty has stifled growth and investment. For the supply chain, uncertainty can come either from financial instability of suppliers or increased volatility of its customers. The combination of the two trends affects the “timing” of the chains. What is the international environment? What is the Greek reality? What is the role of the human factor and technology? Investment in supply chain development and optimization is key to success. Can investments be attractive in conditions of uncertainty? ILME responds to the need to inform the Greek market and in cooperation with the European Logistics Association (ELA) organizes the 6th International Logistics Forum.

The ILF conferences traditionally have a strong impact in the logistics community, with participations exceeding 300 executives – indicatively in the online conferences of 2021 and 2022 registrations exceeded 400 – both from the Supply Chain market and from the Academic world, recognizing the substantial contribution of the event to the dissemination of know-how and trends from Greek and international experiences in the field of Logistics.

The Speakers

Distinguished international speakers from different business sectors will refer to the current challenges of the industry and will share with the participants modern solutions and best practices, highlighting the crucial role of technology and the value of the human factor in achieving business goals, always having the customer at the center of decisions.
