Το Ινστιτούτο Logistics Management Ελλάδος (ILME) διοργανώνει για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα Βραβεία Αριστείας στα Logistics (“The Hellenic Awards for Logistics Excellence”) δίνοντας τη δυνατότητα σε εταιρείες ή και φυσικά πρόσωπα που θα διακριθούν με καινοτόμες λύσεις στον κλάδο της εφοδιαστικής αλυσίδας, να διαγωνισθούν σε πανευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο για το «Ευρωπαϊκό Βραβείο Αριστείας στα Logistics» (“The European Award for Logistics Excellence”).
Η Παγκόσμια Τράπεζα διεξάγει μια έρευνα για τα logistics στην Ελλάδα καθ’ όλη την διάρκεια του Νοεμβρίου 2013. Αυτή είναι η πρώτη έρευνα σε μια προσπάθεια να εξαχθούν χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα αναφορικά με τις πιθανές δράσεις βελτίωσης του επιχειρηματικού περιβάλλοντος και της βελτίωσης των logistics για τις επιχειρήσεις στην Ελλάδα.
Στα πλαίσια της Εταιρικής Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης για την περίοδο 2013-2014 η Randstad Hellas παρουσιάζει το πρόγραμμα «U CAN DO IT!».
Το πρόγραμμα απευθύνεται σε μαθητές Λυκείου και νέους έως 23 ετών και είναι δομημένο σε τρία σεμινάρια με θέμα τις νέες τάσεις στην αγορά εργασίας και τα εργαλεία αναζήτησης εργασίας.
Το ILME δίνει την δυνατότητα εγγραφής με 20 ευρώ ετήσια συνδρομή για φοιτητές.
Θέλοντας να δώσουμε την ευκαιρία στους νέους που επέλεξαν να ακολουθήσουν την καριέρα του logistician να απολαμβάνουν τα οφέλη και τις υπηρεσίες που προσφέρουμε στα μέλη μας, και κατανοώντας τις δύσκολες εποχές που επηρεάζουν όλους μας, το ΔΣ αποφάσισε να ανακοινώσει νέα ετήσια συνδρομή για φοιτητές μόνο με 20 ευρώ.

Enabled by European Logistics Award-winning Concept of Ford and Penske
The European Logistics Association (ELA) honored Penske Logistics and Ford Motor Company with this year’s European Award for Logistics Excellence 2012 award for the innovative Network Integrator concept developed by the two companies. The winning case study submission is a joint project of Ford’s European Customer Service Division (FCSD) and Penske Logistics to optimize spare-parts supply chain enabling collaboration for multiple car brands across Europe. The award ceremony today took place in Kiev, Ukraine.

The most recent edition of the North Europe Global Port Tracker report produced by maritime consultancy Hackett Associates and the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics is pointing to a solid end of the year that they say will pave the way for a “sharp rebound” in North Europe next year.
Over 630 attendees from the European supply chain and logistics industry gathered in Berlin this June for the 15th Annual SCL Europe Summit. In the presence of Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering, former President of European Parliament, Remmers Baustofftechnik GmbH received the European Award for Logistics Excellence 2013.
The jury, chaired by Ádám Kósa, MEP EPP group, nominated nearly unanimously this project as winner. The project in the construction industry provides now deliveries after receiving the order within 24 and 48 hours in 19 countries of Europe wherever the customer is located. Centralising the order taking function combined with the extension of the time frame, modernising and centralising warehousing and distribution activities to 6 centres as well as automated IT logistics, the winning company gained significant and amazing results.
